Blockchain firm Diginex has appointed Chi-Won Yoon as the company’s Chairman of Asia operations.
Diginex, a blockchain financial services and technology company, partners with institutional investors, corporations and governments to make digital assets more accessible, business processes more efficient and secure. Diginex believes its collaborative approach and pursuit of global cooperation is optimal to drive institutional adoption of blockchain technologies and the regulated use of digital assets.
Yoon has more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector. Before joining Diginex, he served UBS for 22 years before retiring from his vice chairman position in the past year. His role involved developing and improving long-term relationships with global partners at the investment bank. Yoon also served Merrill Lynch in New York and worked for Lehman Brothers in New York and Hong Kong.
As Diginex’s new Chairman of Asia operations, Yoon will try to expand the company’s financial services offerings by using his experience.
